Parsha Kedoshim provides one of the most foundational Torah commandments God gives to us: “You shall be holy, for I, the Lord your God, am holy.” Every believer desires to obey this command. On the surface, it seems quite simple. God is holy so we should be too. Can we? Can we ever hope to achieve God-like holiness? God is transcendent, beyond all comprehension, and His holiness is surely no different. Has He given humanity an impossible mission? In this week’s teaching, we’ll take a look at God’s holiness revealed on a level that we can, and must, imitate.
